Privacy policy
Last updated: November 5, 2026
Qyama is a free Bible app for Android and iPhone, made by Ohgawa. This policy explains, in a few words, what happens to your information: it stays with you.
What we collect
Nothing. Qyama collects no personal data. There is no account, no sign-up, no server and no analytics.
What stays on your device
Your progress (streak, XP, levels, achievements and reading plans), saved verses, the name you choose to show and your settings are stored only on your phone. None of it is sent to Ohgawa or to third parties. Uninstalling the app erases all of it.
Bibles in other languages
Portuguese, English and Spanish come with the app. When you pick a Bible in another language, the app downloads it once from qyama.ohgawa.com. It is an ordinary file request, like opening a web page: the server (Cloudflare) sees the device's internet address only to deliver the file. None of your data is sent, and nothing is stored or linked to you. After that, the Bible works offline.
Notifications
The verse of the day is a local notification: your phone schedules it at the time you choose. No server sends or receives these notifications, and you can turn them off at any time.
Offerings
The in-app offering is optional and only supports development; nothing is locked without it. Payment is handled entirely by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google), under their own policies. Ohgawa never receives your card or payment details.
Ads and tracking
Qyama shows no ads and does not track you, in the app or across other apps and websites.
Children
Qyama is suitable for all ages. Since it collects no data at all, it collects no data from children.
